Why have we conducted this study?

Pay transparency is no longer a distant ideal - it’s a strategic imperative. As we approach the 2026 deadline for EU member states to enact the Pay Transparency Directive, organisations across Europe are facing a moment of reckoning.

Companies are now being challenged to re-evaluate how they approach compensation practices. The conversation has shifted from if transparency should be implemented to how it can be done responsibly, effectively, and sustainably.

This study and supporting whitepaper has been conducted so we can all better understand the real-world state of pay transparency - and implement it in a way that aligns with both regulatory requirements and employee expectations.
