job rating

Job rating is often used as a synonym for job evaluation or job grading. It was used already in a 1960 publication of the International Labour Office "Job Evaluation". Here the "Point Rating Method" is presented as an analytical method of job evaluation. This method is more commonly known as point factor method today.
