point factor method

This is a core method of analytical job evaluation. The requirements, responsibilities, and other aspects of a job - not the position holder as a person - are evaluated with a set of standardised and generalised factors.

These factors can consist of several levels. Points are assigned to each level, sometimes factors are weighted as well, and the total score of the points shows the value or grade of the position.
